Elegant fine art wedding in the French capitale
When wedding planner Jennifer Fox Weddings plans a wedding, you can be sure that everything will be perfect and styled with impeccable taste! For Katherine and Barrett, who came from New Orleans to celebrate their micro wedding in Paris, Jennifer carefully selected every detail and coordinated the ceremony at the church to the romantic candlelight dinner in an elegant Parisian restaurant with historic charm. An unforgettable day for this beautiful couple, captured by wedding photographer Molly Carr Photography .
From Jennifer Fox Weddings: Katherine & Barrett’s intimate and classic micro wedding celebration in Paris was not short on love and laughter! On a warm late summer morning in August, the NOLA couple gleefully prepared in their respective chambres de bonne.
Katherine and her girls danced with delight as she stepped into her show stopping gown. (Just look at that train!!) A bouquet of neutral colored blooms completed her wedding day look. The groom wore a royal blue suit to keep in the theme of "something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue". The bride even donned blue Badgley Mischka assortis à son futur époux! heels to match her beau!
A classic 1955 white Citroen Traction waited downstairs to whisk the bride away for the couple’s first look. The groom took his place in a secluded spot near the foot of the Eiffel Tower and when it was finally time to see his bride, his face beamed with delight!
Couple pictures in the most iconic Parisian hotspots
After the pair enjoyed some quiet time together, they headed to their church ceremony. Their portrait session ticked all the « iconic hotspots in Paris » boxes! The Champs de Mars, Trocadéro, Pont Alexandre III and Jardin des Tuileries were all on their wedding menu du jour! When dinner time rolled around, guests were welcomed by a live violinist and cellist. They sipped on champagne while the duet set the mood.
Romantic candlelight dinner at Macéo
Their dinner table was decorated with soft candle light and romantic fine art style florals. A single rose sat atop each guest’s menu. « Madame » & « Monsieur » signs designated the bride and groom’s place at the table. Once their 4-course dinner was complete, the couple cut their buttercream wedding cake and thanked their family and friends for celebrating with them. The perfect ending to a classically romantic micro wedding day in Paris!
