Véronique Chesnel first portfolio workshop for photographers
When French fine art wedding photographer Véronique Chesnel told me the first time about her Workshop for photographers project, I was immediately seduced. The concept, mood-board and choice of wedding vendors were coherent and very high-end. The workshop unsurprisingly sold out very quickly, and the fabulous images taken by the participants have already won over several international wedding blogs. Véronique, member of Adoré Vendor Guide , shares today her experience and the photos of the first two days of work in this sublime Belle Époque Villa.

Fine art wedding at its best
From Véronique: I wanted to create, with the first edition of the Fine Art Portfolio Workshop, 3 days dedicated to elevate the participants portfolio and to creative sharing around editorials, sublimating the codes of Fine Art.
This workshop, open to 10 photographers only, breaks the codes of what currently exists. Each photographer who invested in this workshop had the time to create his images around the many scenes proposed, and to discuss with the other trainees. It was important for me that Cécile Kotsch, the editor of Adoré Blog, officially opened this workshop by intervening with the interns. It was a real honor because it was her very first time on a Workshop. Once again, many thanks, Cécile, for your trust!

Château Mader: a stunning Belle ÉPoque Villa near Arcachon
The first two days of the Workshop took place at Château Mader, a grandiose Belle Époque Villa. This fabulous venue offers a sumptuous view of the Arcachon Bay. This place, steeped in history, and one of the most beautiful in the Bassin, has both a magnificent flower garden allowing you to imagine magnificent banquets and ceremonies outdoors, but also breathtaking interiors, especially with its magnificent rotunda, a bright room perfect for a fine art wedding.

High-end wedding vendors and stunning couture wedding gowns from madebride
Laetitia Ricci , talented floral designer came from Nice to decorate these three days of workshop, helped by Sarah de Saint Quentin .
Endowed with great humanity, Laetitia has favored the use of local flowers. All her floral creations were composed around the history of the castle but also around this magnificent floral dress created by Madebride by Antonea . This Greek wedding dress designer, which I fell in love with, allowed the design to revolve around the omnipresent flower and to break the very white side of the villa.
It also allowed us to create an editorial totally different from what had already been seen in this place, in particular with these flowered tables set up facing this long outdoor swimming pool.

It was also important for me to offer more to my trainees. I wanted to go further and offer emotion, love at a time when we need it even more. To sublimate this couple, Laura Cawte hairdresser and makeup artist was wonderful and extremely professional. Finally, Sylvie from Insieme Créations, also member of the vendor guide , accompanied me on this adventure for all things stationery. This extraordinary woman works with paper in a unique way. Meriem from Madeleines et Macarons made the wedding cake , a true piece of art.

The second edition of the workshop will take place in 2022
I am really delighted to have been able to bring a new way of approaching the workshop at a time when photographers are looking for images and want to develop their brand and their creative side. This is an event that I hope rare and qualitative which I will offer every two years. Rendez-vous, therefore, in 2022 for the second edition of the Fine Art Portfolio Workshop.
