chic wedding in provence
Built in 1770 by François Bénézet de Tourreau based on the plans of the architect Brun, the fabulous Château de Tourreau is today a prestigious venue which welcomes VIP weddings and chic events in the heart of Provence. It is this absolutely magnificent setting that the wedding designer Magnolias on Silk chose for this fairy tale featuring fine and feminine details captured by fine art photographer Anja Schneemann .

A magnificent wedding venue
{ Fine art wedding at Chateau de Tourreau }From Magnolies on Silk: "South of France has so many beautiful wedding venues. And this wedding venue in Provence is definitely one of the most beautiful. The wedding venue is a romantic and quaint, but also a luxurious castle. Chateau de Tourreau was built in the 1750s in the heart of the Provence. It is surrounded by old cypresses and has a huge garden with a fountain and several suits, farmhouses and a pool which contribute to the luxurious charm. The colors of the location itself are mostly neutral so that the lovely window shutters in a mint green really stand out. Our color concept is also in soft colors such as a light dusty rose, as the perfume motif should be accentuated with that."

{ Fine art wedding at Chateau de Tourreau } The motif is most prominent in the floristry. The bridal bouquet and the centerpiece are made with jasmine, scented rose and tuberose which are all flowers used in the perfumery. In combination with olive and pomegranate, the flower arrangements truly represent the Provence itself and also our interpretation of perfume. The delicate shapes of the flowers and of the surrounding cypresses are great for indicating the metaphor of perfume through the photographs. The wedding stationery created by Ciarra Claire is simply exquisite. The sketch of the castle and hand calligraphy bring a lot of charm and personality. We love the beautiful flatlay tells us the story of a romantic French affair.

The wedding table
{ Fine art wedding at Chateau de Tourreau } Within the table decoration, we used a velvet table cloth in light dusty rose and paired it with beautiful tableware from Vista Alegre . The subtle pattern of the plates can also be found in the glasses. Small details like this one are often the most important ones. The dusty rose color palette also continues in the plates. Golden accents like the filigree cutlery or the golden wood of the chairs really make the design more elegant and therefore matching the location.

The bride and Groom
{ Fine art wedding at Chateau de Tourreau } An absolute highlight of this styled shoot is also the wedding dress from Mira Zwillinger. The white tulle appears very light-weight and the gorgeous 3d floral applications capture our motif just perfectly. The jewelry and the headpiece from Sibo Designs of the bride is also very floral inspired. The makeup artist Karine Brossard created a gorgeous and sophisticated look for the bride, enhancing her natural beauty.
