The Covid-19 years are behind us. Wedding vendors agree that after two years of confinement and postponed weddings, the majority of couples want to experience a festive wedding, without losing anything in elegance. Wedding planner Justine Huette and photographer Aude Lucas-Lesain collaborated on this shoot that demonstrates their desire to combine refinement and a festive atmosphere. A successful bet with this couture wedding at the Château de la Houssière near Paris which delicately combines a joyful atmosphere and refined details, filmed by As You Are.

The shoot explained by the team: Some couples had recently expressed their doubts about the compatibility of the romantic "fine art" style and the party atmosphere they wanted to be captured. The objective for Aude was therefore to create images that would combine this intense light of fine art with the explosions of joy of a marriage rich in emotions.
Justine organizes high-end, elegant, and timeless weddings. She wanted to create a chic universe and bring fashion to a historic place. Thus, French heritage and couture wedding fashion would come together to celebrate future brides who are modern yet attentive to tradition. The choice of a minimalist palette – white tones and black touches – made it possible to draw attention to both the elegant lines and the joyful atmosphere of this shoot.

The bride, styled by Widnie Alexis, wore a Berta maxi dress found at Metal Flaque for the ceremony and dinner. She then put on a short, and festive dress by Milla Nova at La Mariée Capricieuse for cutting the cake. Dresses with pure lines accessorized with jewels Jonida Ripani. The groom wore a suit from Rives Paris. Our couple also wore sunglasses, to add a note of spontaneity to their look.

The dinner table was set with crockery and cutlery found at Maison Options and Vintage Dinnerware. Floral arrangements by Véronique Lorre helped create a lush setting for dinner, with clean lines and touches of black to enhance the scene. The cake from Wedding Cakes and Co. was impressive and airy. Among the jewels from Atelier Noemie Briand, the dark tones of gray spinel mounted alone, as well as the ebony of the men's wedding ring from an old statue, was perfectly matched to the white and black design of the shoot. Bonjour Paper created delicate wedding stationery that honored the venue hosting this project: the Château de la Houssière, located one hour from Paris.
