Located in Burgundy between Dijon and Beaune, a few steps from the Burgundy "route des Grands Crus", the splendid Château de Saulon nestles in 27 hectares of greenery. Built in the 17th century and renovated in 2018, the Château has all the necessary infrastructure to host weddings and chic events. It is this prestigious setting that the event decoration agency L'Heure Enchantée has chosen for this editorial inspired by the works of the French novelist Stéphane Mallarmé and water lilies paintings by Claude Monet. Let's meet this proud and romantic bride, captured by the photographer Yann Mignonet .

{wedding at the chateau de saulon} From the team: This 100% French editorial is the fruit of a collaboration between Aude Gau, event decorator of L'Heure Enchantée, and Yann Mignonet, Lille photographer. They wished to imagine an editorial for couples dreaming of a high-end wedding, and seeking French "savoir-faire".

{wedding at the chateau de saulon} The concept: a luminous visual universe, imbued with refinement and softness. Each detail is inhabited through words and images, through the poetry of French novelist Stéphane Mallarmé and paintings of Claude Monet's water lilies. The color palette is therefore resolutely soft with shades of powder pink, ivory and gold, but enhanced with notes of purple for a timeless and off-season atmosphere.

{marriage at the chateau de saulon} For this, the duo teamed up with local and Parisian wedding vendors, helped by Muriel Arcos, cake designer at Cakes in the city , who was their Burgundian ambassador . Each vendor was chosen with care according to their expertise. Everyone dared to leave their comfort zone, to imagine original and unique accessories, in close collaboration with each other .

Héloïse Gabaud, from jewelry and accessories designer made in France So Hélo , provided for the boudoir session silk and lace robes Cléophina and a selection jewelry for the whole session. Christophe Alexandre Docquin , passionate about haute couture since childhood and designer of bespoke wedding dresses since 1991, accepted to create a unique dress inspired by his future "Luxe" collection. It was Amélie who had the chance to slip into the unique creation during the shoot and brought the project to life by embodying this dreamy young bride .

{wedding at the chateau de saulon} The beauty of the bride was entrusted to the expertise of Delphine Rol, Le Carré de Venus , hairstylist and finalist 2018 in the competition for the best French hairdresser, and to Amélie Marthout, Become you , professional makeup artist. Cristelle Schweitzer from her Dijon workshop of textile embroidery Brehatine worked hand in hand with the calligrapher and Parisian graphic designer Ethy Wong from Letter Blooms to create the accessories for the bride's " trousseau" and the wedding stationery . The sublime work of Lisa Godbille Berroyer, designer from Lille at Dame Belette around paper flowers a echoes the floral decoration of Marilyn Creve of Rose Pivoine by Marylin .
