In the footsteps of Madame de Sévigné
This bridal editorial opens for us the doors of the Château de Villeméjane which has become, thanks to its new owners, a new wedding and event venue in South of France. The 14th century building seduced the illustrious Madame de Sévigné who stayed there. An organic scenography with greenery lush floral compositions transformed the Château into an extraordinary interior garden to welcome the couple, and celebrate their union in complete privacy. Discover below all the bucolic-chic wedding ideas at Château de Villeméjane in Provence, orchestrated by wedding planner Rachel Sword WP and captured by photographer Vincent Kem.

Un décor floral qui sublime le lieu comme un jardin extraordinaire
The editorial told by the team: Kendall & Romain fell in love with the Château de Villeméjane, made up of a bastide and its keep, a chapel and a orangery. They abandon everything to acquire it and create a new weddin and event venue. Madame de Sévigné is said to have stayed there in her "Chambre de la Marquise", which remained almost intact, adding a romantic charm to the place. The renovation work was not an obstacle: moreover, the French series "Le château de mes rêves" on M6 is currently following their family and professional adventure. For the editorial, an "Extraordinary Garden" decor and atmosphere inside was created. The table was set with gold-edged tableware complemented by refined stationery. The French Toile furniture gives the castle its letters of nobility. Under the benevolent eye of the Marquise's portrait, the newlyweds united in the chapel of the castle with its sky of lilies. The bridal veil quotes a phrase from Madame de Sévigné: “memory is in the heart. »
